If you can't come to the gym for a period, you can freeze your membership by adding an idle period directly from the Gold’s Gym App or Self-Service ( Area self ).
Remember to apply for the idle period by the end of this month if you want to pause your membership for next month.
If you have a monthly Flex contract, you can add an idle period twice every year; if you have a yearly contract, you can freeze up to 6 months in a year.
If you want to apply for an idle period, just go to your Self-service, click on the Self-service tab and then click on Idle periods, then click on the top right on Apply for idle period, Select a value for each box in the top row (the document is not mandatory) and then click on Apply for idle period.
Within a few minutes the idle period will appear on your Idle periods page and you will receive two automatic e-mails with the confirmation that your request has been submitted and then accepted.
During the idle period you won't have access to the gym and you won't pay the monthly fee. We remind you that the idle period extends your contract and postpones the next renewal date of your contract or end date, in case you have already cancelled.
If you change your mind and you want to reactivate your membership by cancelling the idle period, you can do it yourself from your Self-service for next month or with a request to our Customer Care for the current month.
